Captain David and Chef
Drea Schuster
David and Drea Schuster developed
their love of sailing and the sea on the
Chesapeake Bay. David, born in Virginia and
raised in California has never been far from the
sea. He is an avid water-skier, a snorkeling and
windsurfing enthusiast, and PADI dive master.
David is anxious to assist, accompany or instruct
from fishing to deep sea diving, and he holds a
100- ton USCG captains license.
Drea grew up sailing on the
Chesapeake Bay and has sailed throughout the Gulf
of Mexico, the Caribbean to South America and
Europe. The Schusters love for travel has
provided Drea with diverse culinary skills which
she shares enthusiastically with their charter
guests. She attends The Culinary Institute of
America each summer to collect new ideas for her
already vast assortment of international menus.
Nutrition has become a top priority and Drea
welcomes the opportunity to cater to individual
preferences and dietary requirements. She also
holds a lOO-ton USCG license, is a certified
rescue diver and is CPR trained.
David and Drea have been
chartering together since 1986 and are an
experienced professional crew. Comfort, fine
foods, international wines and fun times await
for a holiday that will be long remembered.
