Captain Joe and Chef Lynne
Campbell
Welcome
Onboard IRIE !
Joe & Lynne Campbell and
Dave Strobel, your crew aboard IRIE, welcome the opportunity
to ensure that your vacation is one filled with relaxation and
fun! An adventurous and enthusiastic team, they are eager to
share the pleasures that await you in the islands.
Joe & Lynne have been
chartering as a team for over five years. Previous to
chartering Irie, they crewed aboard their smaller yacht, a
Morgan 46. Both PADI Dive Instructors, they will serve as your
guides and/or instructors, to introduce you to the spectacular
underwater world. Their travels, charters & diving have
extended from Florida to South America, including the Bahamas,
Virgin Islands & Grenadines. Together, they possess the
experience, expertise & knowledge to ensure that your stay
with them is a perfect one.
Joe & Lynne met in
California and have been married for over 12 years. Their
mutual love of the water began their vision of one day owning
a sailboat in the Caribbean. Seven years later they bought the
first Irie. Their passion for sailing, diving &
exploration remains strong today. They look forward to sharing
the pleasures that await you in the islands- the Irie way!

Dave Strobel, your chef aboard Irie, looks
forward to amazing his guests with his culinary creativity and
talent. A graduate of Scottsdale Culinary Institute with
a degree in Culinary Arts, he also has 10 years of
professional restaurant experience. Dave's culinary
style is very diversified, but can best be categorized as
Nouveau Classical with Island and Asian influences. His
travels and chef experiences have led him from Scottsdale, to
the Napa Valley area, and on to Anchorage, Alaska. His
gained versatility is key, allowing him to adjust and vary his
menus according to his guests' preferences. Most
recently, Dave served as Executive Sous Chef at the Glacier
BrewHouse in Anchorage Alaska followed by a one year term as
Pastry Chef at the Coyote Grill in Scottsdale,
Arizona.
Born and raised outside
Chicago, Dave's love of the water and sailing began at an
early age. His wanderlust led him to Irie, where he has
combined his passion for food with his desire to sail.
When he's not in the galley, Dave's other pursuits include
beach volleyball, mountain hiking and art.
