Captain Tom Buttermore and hostess Sharon Miller

Your host and skipper, USCG licensed Captain Tom Buttermore has been sailing for more than 20 years. He has made three Atlantic crossings, the most recent was sailing CANTAMAR home from England. Well Known for his charismatic personality and smile, Tom has taken time from his busy corporate life to host private charters along the coastal waters of Great Britain, Spain, the Canary Islands and many in the Caribbean. Tom received his MBA from the U of Kentucky and enjoyed a long career in sales in high tech and major medical equipment.

Your hostess, Sharon Miller, also USCG licensed, made her second voyage across the Atlantic aboard CANTAMAR. She has cruised extensively in the Mediterranean, the coast of Morocco and throughout the Caribbean as hostess and cook on several private charters. Well known for preparing sumptuous meals while underway, Sharon treats her guests to a variety of delightful and delicious meals leaving everyone wondering how she has so much time to enjoy sailing and entertaining. Sharon enjoyed an eclectic career as an insurance investigator and account representative in telecommunications. She also owned her own printing company before moving to the islands.
