Captain Chuck Nickerson has a
US Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters License. He spent
10 years in the US Navy; five years on Submarines
and five years flying Navy jet fighters. He then
joined Eastern airlines and flew with them for 23
years. He retired early to change careers to his
first passion - boating... Chuck and his wife
Helena after cruising the Caribbean for several
years and two Atlantic crossings decided to
settle in the area to charter and cruise.
Helena was born in Colombia,
coming to the US as an exchange student at Notre
Dame. She continued her education at various
schools throughout the US. She worked as a
Physical Therapist in Miami and Bogota for many
years, sailing at every opportunity. Her second
hobby is cooking. Her culinary delights will
range from delicious Colombian food to gourmet
dishes, guaranteed to satisfy the hungriest of
swimmers and snorkelers. Her pleasant and
charming personality will make you feel at home
in her home, in English or Spanish.
