CHEF:

PASCAL NEBOIS, a 35 year old French citizen, started his culinary career as an apprentice in a French restaurant in 1980. Pascal received the prestigious “Satisfaction Witness” diploma from the French Charcuterie Chamber only 4 years later. The following 2 years he spent as Chef at “Rainier Marchette”, well-known for providing the catering for the President of France; then moving to Corsica to work at the restaurant “Champenois” in Calvi. Pascal later learned Asian cuisine as Sous-Chef at the “Chwen Beach” restaurant in Thailand. Before opening his own restaurant in Les Saintes, Pascal worked to round out his knowledge of world-wide cuisine by learning Caribbean and Creole recipes at a Cordon Bleu Creole restaurant in Guadeloupe. In addition to being well traveled, having spent time in India, Thailand, and South America, Pascal speaks fluent English. Pascal’s other interests include sailing, SCUBA diving, and sports.

HOSTESS:

SYLVIE ROUSSEAU is 37 years old and was born in France. She speaks both French and Italian. Sylvie enjoys the sea and the sun, and has found her home in the luxury crewed yacht trade. After many years of work in the fashion world, where she planned and hosted many up-scale parties and oversaw press conferences, she came to love sailing. Having been a free lance model herself for a time in Italy, she enjoys beauty and travel, and meeting new people. Her personal skills are of the highest caliber, and she will always bring a smile with her as she serves clients onboard.
